Matt Propert is a photographer and photo editor based in Santa Cruz, California. His photography has been shown in one-person exhibitions and published nationally and internationally. His work has been featured in many National Geographic books and special edition magazines. In 2012 his personal photography work from the Caribbean islands was recognized in the Magenta Foundation Flash Forward competition. Matt is a member of Visura GUILD and is represented by Nat Geo Creative for image licensing. As an editor Matt has photo-edited more than 30 books for National Geographic.
